October Family Bucket List

How was everyone’s October?!

At the start of the month we set up a family bucket list to accomplish throughout  , so I thought I’d share our memories and what we chose to do with y’all !

kinda hoping to continue this out for the rest of the year , i love planning things out and its such a fun thing to me to cross it off our list !

1. Pumpkin Patch/Farm –

You guys this is a must , haven’t you seen it all over Instagram haha ! We spent a lot of time at Goebberts farm this month and it was so so much fun ! They have so much to do there, at first she did not like the pumpkins – she thought they were messy lol . I would say my favorite was Savannah getting to ride a “pony” for the first time !! She was so brave and so excited to get on him and of course when it was over she asked for mas 😂

the spots we will always hit here are –

  • feeding the giraffe
  • watching the pig race- this was funny to her
  • taking photos in all the fun cutouts
  • the wagon ride
  • pony ride
  • how tall this fall? – how great will these be over time seeing her growth , all the heart eyes

2.Try a new “Fall” treat-

I tried an apple cider donut for the first time and omg ?! It was magical lol. No really I loooveeeed it . Eric and I are now obsessed and look forward to get more , we also made lots of fun “fall” treats ! Yummy, i always wanted to make fun treats with my kids and this was our first time together , what treats do you love making?

3.Spooky Baskets-

So this is like a thing now ? I’ve seen it a lot on twitter from fellow moms , and I just had to get in on it ! I used her old basket and just filled it with new and old goodies (that’s the great thing about a one year old – everything surprises her lol) her favorite was the Minnie Mouse baby and the books for sure ! It’s such a fun and easy idea especially if you have a toddler , It’s like Christmas before Christmas !

what i incorporated was-

  • mickey mouse light up cup
  • Halloween sticker assortments
  • A pack of Halloween glow in the dark under ware – potty training is on our agenda around here and these are adorable haha
  • Two books
  • A baggie of pretzels(Snacks yumm)
  • Minnie stuffed animal
  • Mickey Mouse Coloring book
  • A cute little pumpkin
  • Light up kitty wand

4.Carving Pumpkins-

Carving pumpkins is always on our list – we love going over to my in-laws having football on in the background eating pizza and seeing who can make the best pumpkin, somehow my husband is a great carver he’s always on duty for it haha. this year Savannah chose a kitty so a kitty she got !

we also went to my girl-friends house and we had a fun time getting the kids to paint some cute little pumpkins – at the end they were all just a black blob haha . savvy keeps talking about how she did pumpkins with jay-yeen lol

^last year 😍

5.Boo @ the Zoo-

well the zoo is always a great idea for a fun family day out – but when they decorate it for Halloween – instantly 10 times better! Savannah was going around saying mami daddy loookkkeee. she was so so excited , we also passed by the pumpkin smashing area and she yelled out smash it smash it with the other kids – so cute if you’ve been to the zoo for this whats your favorite part? I love the big huge pumpkin front and center haha such a fun photo opp-

^ a little girl yelled boo in her face & she started crying , i felt so bad but it was funny lol
